Hello there.

At my current position I have designed the covers and internals of over 150 educational children’s books since joining BookLife. Other design work include: Brand design // Full catalogue design // Campaign branding and design // Exhibition stand design and collateral // Leaflets // Web banners // Social Media banners and videos // Print advertising and much more.

I am currently in charge of a small Marketing team for two internal publishing companies. This role includes design and marketing lead whilst providing support and guidance to help my team manage their workloads effectively along with my own design duties and deadlines.

I’m taking my professional hat off for a moment... Outside of work, I love a good gig or grubby festival, live comedy, TV shows, and trips in and out of the country. I also enjoy mucking around with my hyperactive nephew and outings with my fiancée. But what are you passionate about, Dan? I hear you cry... (Please humour me.)

I’m a lifelong wrestling fan (please don’t stop reading). I’ve even travelled to America just to watch wrestling. (Seriously, please don’t stop reading.) As for sports, let’s just say “passionate” is a strong word when it comes to supporting Norwich City; I’ve been hurt before. I’m a huge music nerd, with an encyclopaedic knowledge of when songs were released. I love making a mess with abstract painting, watching harrowing documentaries in the evening, strong coffee in the morning, a variety of podcasts and audiobooks, and obsessively creating Spotify playlists. Anyway, enough of that. I hope to meet you soon... Over a coffee, of course.
